Instruction for the car floor mat
- Make a design for the car floor mat.
- Meassure the aerea for the floor mat exactly and make a stencil.
- Put the stencil on a piece of PVC material (I used only remains which I got from a company for free) and cut out the design with a sharpe knife or a scissers.
- For the lining layer use also a piece of PVC or Vinyl.
- Pin the cut out design of the floor mat on top of the lining material.
- Sew around and also make some sewing lines in distance of app. 10 cm (it should not ruffle).
- Sew a bias ribbon around the floor mat.
- (On the back side of the floor mat you can sew a nylon fastening tape (hook)).
- Ein Design für die Auto-Fußmatte erstellen.
- Nach den genauen Maßen eine Schablone anfertigen.
- Diese auf ein PVC Material legen (ich habe Reste dafür benutzt, die ich von einer Firma umsonst bekommen habe) und entlang der Schablone das Design mit einem scharfen Messer oder einer Schere ausschneiden.
- Für die Unterseite ebenfalls ein Stück PVC oder Vinyl nehmen.
- Die ausgeschnittene Fußmatte drauflegen und rund herum zusammennähen, bei Bedarf, auch alle 10 cm eine Naht machen (um eventuelle Falten zu verhindern).
- Rund um den Rand der Fußmatte ein Schrägband nähen.
- (Auf der Rückseite kan man ein Klettband befestigen.)
