Leather Tassel with Pearls, size 15 cm
Material:
- Piece of leather, 15 x 15 cm
- Beads and pearls
- Polyester thread
- Small piece of metal chain
- 1 Carabiner hook
- Glue
Instruction:
Prepare leather pieces for the
fringe 10 x 15 cm (make a cut every 4 mm, leave about 1,5 cm uncutted on upper edge)
loop 1 x 5 cm
cover 2 x 10 cm
Make 5 Pearl-bead strings, use polyester thread --> foto.
Fold the loop piece and sew it underneath the fringe piece.
Sew on the pearl strings on upper edge of leather.
Start with glueing. At first glue fringe piece on upper edge, inside, then roll it --> foto. Now glue cover piece and roll it on fringed leather piece.
Roll an old ribbon or fabric around to fix the glue, leave it for a few hours.
Attach chain and carabiner hook. Enjoy your new fast tassel !
