Bows for Advent Wreath
Material for 1 bow:
- Metallic yarn
- Crochet hook, size 2
- Organdy fabric, 5 x 50 cm
- 1 feather
- Soutache ribbon, 30 cm
- 1 button
- Transparent nylon thread
Instruction:
Crochet 1 ribbon, 3 x 45 cm - app. 60 rows. Work after chart, repeat always 1st row:
Iron crochet ribbon carefully.
Prepare thr organdy fabric, cut the edges with a zigzag scissors, prevents the fraying.
Fold the organdy ribbon to a bow and fix it in the middle with a few stitches on your sewing machine.
Fold also the crochet ribbon to a bow and sew it.
Place the crochet bow over the organdy one and insert the feather in between. Then sew all together.
(Sew slowely and carefully).
Prepare the soutache ribbon and the button. (I used old one from my collection of single buttons).
Put the soutache ribbon over the bow - to cover the seam - and make a knot. Finally sew on the button. It`s ready.
