White cotton bag with crochet flowers










Crochet a few flowers and make this nice summer bag. (Size: 35 x 40 cm)





Material:

  • White cotton wool, 125 mts./50g grs.
  • Crochet hook number 3
  • White cotton fabric app. 50 x 100 cm
  • Lining: cotton fabric ap. 40 x 80 cm
  • 1 zipper 16 cm
  • Eyelets
  • Buckles
  • Carabiners


Start with 6 ch sts.


Close with a sl st.
 Then follow the chart below.







Make 16 large flowers and 6 small ones (small flower:  make a ring of 6 ch.sts, close with a sl. st., next row: make 16 dc in the ring, close with sl.st.)

Start with the bag:

Prepare the white fabric, on the back side of the fabric you can iron interfacing material.

Don´t forget the zipper bag on the lining.

Mark exactly on the material where you want to sew the crochet flowers.


Arrange the flowers, pin them, fix them on the fabric with large sts., then sew them with the sewing machine.


Sew the fabric on the sides together, iron the seam allowance from the back side and make a nice seam in front. Then insert the lining.


Prepare little straps for each side (also for below and above as you can see on the photo) and fix all with the sewing machine.


Insert eyelets and buckles.


Prepare the side holders for the shoulder belt.


Sew the holders inside left and right side of the bag.
