Belt-Bag, 20 x 14 cm


  • Cotton fabric,  22 x 30 cm
  • Piece of leather, 22 x 25 cm
  • Lining, 22 x 50 cm
  • Interfacing, 22 x 35cm
  • Polyester thread
  • Zipper, 18 cm
  • 1 Rivets
  • 2 Carabiner
  • 2 Metal half rings
  • 1 Push lock
  • Cotton string for pipe, 70 cm
  • Viscose for pipe (bias binding), 3 x 70 cm


Prepare the stencil for the belt bag. Cut out the pieces with a seam allowance of 1 cm. --> foto.

Pin leather flap piece and cotton piece

and make a seam --> foto. Then iron on the interfacing on back side.

Prepare the pipe. 

Mark the bottom folding of your belt bag. Then sew on the pipe from the mark on one side, around the flap and to the mark on the other side.

Prepare the lining, make an inside zipper pocket.

Then sew on the lining, only around the flap and fold up the rest of the lining. Now sew only the main fabric from the pipe markings up to the flap (11,5 - 12 cm) and fold the left material back --> foto.

Then fold also the lining material and sew it (also about 11,5 - 12 cm) --> foto.

Fix the push lock carefully, insert the lining inteo the bag and sew it on.
Prepare 2 leather loops for the carabiners, 2,5 x 12 cm. Then fix a carabiner and  half ring

and sew it on the backside of the belt bag. (You can also fix them with rivets).

Enjoy your finished belt bag.
